Established in 1941 by Harold Stokey, Allied Machine & Engineering Corp. entered the 1950’s as a job shop, manufacturing tapered bearing lock nuts and accessories. Allied introduced a more effective universal-style spade drill in the 1960’s, breaking new ground for the industry with patented developments in blade locking and particle metallurgy. In the 1980’s, Allied pioneered innovative spade drill geometry and coatings that took h***-making to a level never before seen by the metal cutting industry. In 1992, Allied formed a partnership with Allied Maxcut Engineering Company of West Midlands, England, enabling customers within the European markets to access the high quality Allied tooling and application support offered in the USA.
Drilling Products:
- GEN3SYS® Drill Inserts and Holders penetrate up to 35% faster than competitive drilling products. Allied’s AM200®coating increases tool life up to 50% when compared to competitor’s premium coatings.
- ASC 320 ® For 3-20mm Diameter Product Range, Available in 3.5x, 6x, and 9x drill depth to diameter ratios
- T-A® Products - 12 Drill Holders cover a range of 0.374” to 4.5” (9,5mm to 114,00mm)
- Opening Drill® is an extremely effective tool designed to enlarge existing holes. It is available in five different shank styles: straight; ABS 63; Cat V40/V50; HSK 63A/C /100A/C and BT 40/BT
- Revolution Drill® has an innovative design that allows for adjustability of 0.200" (5.1mm) on diameter, eliminating the need for specials and/or subsequent boring operations.
- BT-A® Drill The BT-A Drill is compatible with standard BTA-STS Systems. Features of the BT-A Drill include laser clad bearing area for improved straightness, replaceable cutting edges to eliminate the need for resharpening and significantly increased penetration rates over brazed heads and traditional gun drills
Reaming Products:
- ALVAN® Ring Style Reamer is available with carbide, cermet, PCD or CBN cutting edges and in diameter sizes from 0.6929 inch to 7.8975 inch (17.60 mm to 200.60 mm). In addition to producing close tolerances and dimensional accuracy of machined holes, this high performance reaming product provides a lower cost per h*** through its high penetration rates, making it an ideal choice for finishing holes in a production environment. It can also prove to be an alternative to finish boring by providing more consistent h*** sizes and lower cycle times.
- ALVAN® Monobloc Reamer is available with carbide, cermet, PCD or CBN cutting edges and in diameter sizes from 0.2283 inch to 1.2638 inch (5.80 mm to 32.10 mm). In addition to producing close tolerances and dimensional accuracy of machined holes, this high performance reaming product provides a lower cost per h*** through its high penetration rates, making it an ideal choice for finishing holes in a production environment. It can also prove to be an alternative to finish boring by providing more consistent h*** sizes and lower cycle times.
Multifunction Products:
- EcoCut can perform up to four operations with one tool. The EcoCut tool can be used for drilling, boring applications, facing operations and standard turning operations
Porting Products:
- AccuPort 432® Port Contour Cutters are produced to strict manufacturing tolerances. This provides the customer with the assurance that the forms produced are within the finish tolerances of each specification. Drill and finish forms port in ONE operation
